We always wanted to try new recipes, and this Steamed Garlic Clams recipe did not disappoint! Paired with our Il Fusti Garlic Olive Oil, the steamed clams had a buttery texture and strong savory bite. We definitely think you should try these.
700ml hot, low-salt chicken stock
75g diced chorizo
1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
A pinch of saffron strands
2 small heads of spring greens, finely shredded
1kg small live clams or cockles, washed well
2 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp Il Fusti Garlic Olive Oil
5 Lemon wedges, to serve
