Garlic, shrimp, and locally made olive oil is sometimes all you need. This 10 minute recipe had us salivating and quickly became one of our 'easy-to-make' favorites. Made with our Olio Nuevo
Estate Olive Oil, minced garlic, and dried red chili flakes, it was s
o simple and so good. Here's how we made it:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Il Fusti Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
-
4 garlic clove, finely minced
- 6 whole dried red chilies (or about 1/2 tablespoon red chili flakes)
-
1/2 cup minced flat-leaf parsley
- Sea Salt
- Crusty bread (for serving)
Directions:
-
In a very large, deep skillet, heat the olive oil until shimmering. Add the garlic, chiles and parsley and cook over moderately high heat for 10 seconds, stirring. Add the shrimp and cook over high heat, stirring once, until they are pink and curled, 3 to 4 minutes. Season with salt and transfer to small bowls. Serve with crusty bread.
If you like, sprinkle the shrimp after they're cooked with your favorite sea salt.
