WOW! These Blood Orange Barbeque Ribs permeated our outdoor kitchen with a wonderfully sweet and savory aroma that traveled for miles! The hoisin sauce and sweet hints of citrus from our Il Fusti Blood Orange Olive Oil were the absolute perfect combination to create a unique blend of flavors. We were so pleased with the result and enjoyed sharing them with our family.
- 2kg pork ribs
- 250ml tomato purée
- 60ml honey
- 30ml sweet chilli sauce
- 60ml hoisin sauce
- 60ml lemon juice
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
60ml Il Fusti Blood Orange Olive OIl
- Prepare the barbecue with hot coals.
Mix the tomato purée, honey, sweet chilli sauce, hoisin sauce, lemon juice, garlic and Il Fusti Blood Orange Olive OIl in a bowl. Coat the ribs with the mixture.
- Once the coals are heated, place the pork ribs on the barbecue. Occasionally coat the meat with more of the sauce mixture as it cooks. Just get a brush and dip it in the sauce.
