We’re obsessed with this Baked Blood Orange Christmas Ham! The zesty citrus notes of Il Fusti Blood Orange Olive Oil perfectly balance the ham’s sweet glaze and savory richness, creating a holiday centerpiece that’s as vibrant in flavor as it is beautiful on the table. It’s pure festive perfection!


INGREDIENTS

3 kg Ham, cooked on the bone

¾ cup orange marmalade

¼ cup pomegranate molasses

2 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon of Il Fusti Blood Orange Olive Oil


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pre heat your oven to 180 deg C fan forced.
  2. Combine the marmalade, molasses, Il Fusti Blood Orange Olive Oil and mustard in a saucepan and heat gently for 10 mins until the mixture becomes syrupy. Set aside for the time being.
  3. Prepare the ham by removing the rind. Using a sharp knife score the fat to create a diamond pattern. Place a clove in each of the diamond shapes and brush with the glaze all over the ham.
  4. Cook for 1 hour, ensuring to brush more of the glaze every 15 mins.
  5. Once cooked allow the ham to rest for 15 mins before slicing.
